About Us

A Note From the Founder
Banking At Cornell was never a finance club for me. I built it around one belief, my core tenet: I am the master of my own destiny.
That belief is liberating and unsettling.
The common thread across every success, failure, high, and low is you. The silver lining here is that you are probably pretty incredible. Take comfort in your drive, competence, and kindness.
BAC was created to complement my tenet.
We don't promise outcomes, nor do we sell shortcuts. What we do offer is a standard: a culture grounded in discipline, curiosity, humility, effort, and respect, and a promise we will do everything in our power to help you succeed. BAC members push themselves to the limit because it's who they are. Accountability starts from within.
BAC takes character seriously. You can be brilliant and still be the wrong fit if you don’t treat people well. You can be behind today and still win if you’re coachable, resilient, and willing to improve. We want members who lack arrogance and entitlement, while embodying ambition, confidence, and a strong competitive drive.
Through our program, you’ll achieve technical and behavioral mastery. You’ll learn how to communicate with professionalism and build meaningful professional relationships. Most importantly, you’ll be surrounded by people who refuse to be passive participants in their own destinies.
BAC is a canvas, and its members are the paint.
Whether you end up in financial services or somewhere else entirely, the mission is the same: leave here better than you arrived. More confident in your ability to bet on yourself.
Welcome to Banking At Cornell.
Sincerely,
Ben Gleeman
